This Blue Max GEN 4000 watt gas generator is one of the best on the market. It's very easy to use, extremely portable, and doesn't make too much noise. We use it all the time at work, and also haven't ever had a problem with the quality of the product, either. It comes with a three year warranty, but I really get the feeling that we'll never need to use it.
It was flat on the floor in my garage. Remember to poor a little in at a time and keep checking until its hafe way on the dip stick. When filling up with gas fill it to the bottom of the filler cap do not fill past it because the gas will heat up from the motor and over flow even though the cap is tight. Started it up and ran fine for 5 min. Next day I hooked it up to my garage 220 and shut the power off my house first!!!! And it power my gas furnaces,TV,light,and refrigerator. No problem. Yes I backfeed to my house and as long as the home power is shut off on the fuse box to where no out side power comes in your fine. I was one of the lucky ones to get one with no problems. remember to check it out before you run them. To run a house just running the gas furnace and TV and 3 light frig you need at least 2000 to 3000 wattage generator.
Let's be realistic, I bought this generator because of it's price and good performance review. It does better then what I expected, too good to be true. Yes, it is not perfect in some areas like documents, but you are the one who is paying for the all the cost. It will cost you more for having a nice book. In fact, I prefer to have a cheap document if I can pay less.

ReplyDeleteJust got the blue max 4000 and i love it it runs everything in my house without complaining one bit i have been through several Generators generac gp 5500 broken vavle, Centurion 5000 watt generator completely stopped producing power couldn't flash it back into working order, they've been through a Coleman Powermate 3250 Watt I've also been through a Coleman Powermate 4000 Watt generator the 3250 compression release died in it so you could not pull it over without ripping your arm off the 4000 Watt Coleman engine seal in the back blew smoke the generator itself, also had a Coleman 5000 watt had a Tecumseh Motor which blew up Rod right through the side, and absolutely none of them performed as good as this little blue 4000 Watt generator I would buy over and over again but I don't think I will ever have to I'm completely blown away by the performance of this generator I would swear on a stack of Bibles to it in a heartbeat it runs my 65 gallon hot water heater that runs my well pump it will run my fridge and TVs although not all at once cuz I don't want to ruin it it will however run hot water heater and well pump at one time with TVs and lights going I just turn the fridge off I guess the bottom line is is you can go by the big name-brand junk if you want to but I've been there and take it from someone who's use the generator for the last five years to power his house this is the one hands down I mean nothing bad I can say about it fires up every single time on the first pull my only wish is that I could afford the 9000 Watt hope this helps you for not being ripped off by the big generator names it's on me by this little blue guy you can't go wrong
